Great Trauma Pack, worth reading this reviewLet me start off by saying, the quality of this kit is top notch. Everything important is a quality name brand equipment. The kit comes with most of everything you need to save one person (maybe two) from gunshots, stab/ puncture wounds and other severe wounds. What this kit is not good for is general first aid, if you used this as a daily kit you might be missing something when you need it most. It’s the kit you pull out when it’s life or death, so treat it like such and keep it stocked and close by.That being said the kit is almost useless if you don’t know what you’re doing. I would suggest getting basic first aid / CPR certified. Then doing a stop the bleed or tactical first aid course. That would give you everything you need to know to effectively use this kit. (I’m First Aid / CPR / AED / Emergency O2 Provider certified and will be doing the stop the bleed and wilderness first aid classes soon.)I have added a few things to this kit to make things a little easier in an emergency situation. I added a CPR face mask kit with the adult and infant mask. (Some will say that is overkill but I keep this kit near me while scuba diving, so drowning is a higher risk where I use this kit. And there was room for it so why not) I also added a small finger pulse ox to help diagnose patients and some extra nitrile gloves. The only thing I found missing from the kit was lube for the nasoairway. It doesn’t come with the kit to begin with which is kind of weird. It’s not a piece of equipment I’m familiar with so I won’t be using it unless it’s an absolute necessity.I saw a few people wondering how to fit everything in the kit, I suggest keeping the CAT tourniquet on the outside. Also practice reconfiguring it to something that makes sense to you and where you can access what you need when you need it. You don’t want to be fumbling around looking for hemostatic packing when someone is bleeding out.In all this is a great kit for most major emergencies. This one will live in the car and go everywhere with me, I will also be ordering more for other vehicles/ property. Also one tip of advice, you can apply a tourniquet on extremities such as arms and legs (not the neck). You can pack wounds in junctional areas like the neck, shoulder and groin/hip areas. Use the chest seal for gunshot or stab wounds in the chest/back area. NEVER REMOVE ANY OBJECT THAT IS PENETRATING A PATIENT!! This is not a substitute for training but just general advice about this specific kit.Sorry for the long review but I figured it’s worth the good review. You can’t go wrong with this kit at this price.

DisappointedIf you need something fast and haven’t done any research this is the product for you. However once the dust settles you’ll realize what a tool you are for how much money you spent for what’s inside. If you can take the time to put your own kit together you will realize how over priced this is and then have a custom kit for your needs. Do that!!!My zipper string broke after the second time I used it. It’s not convenient to open and close. My own fault for buying this without pricing it. Do your research!!

Lots of stuffComes with the bag plus all of the things in the picture… separately. I imagine this is so that you can pack it the way you like so if you don’t know how to pack one YouTube will help.

Not bad but not what advertisedThe whole refill kit is good however they gave me a training tourniquet. It clearly says it printed on the tourniquet itself- “for training purposes only”.

Much better to have this and not need it……than need it and not have it. Very well-equipped IFAK. Might pick up a couple more and toss them in the car for general first aid.

Great quality.Very nice bag, I got the red one. It is exactly as pictured. The tear open zipper design is great for rapid access in an emergency, It does tear open quickly with no zipper hang ups or snags. First aid items are all sealed and packaged well. Its solid.

Attended gunshot trauma class. Pack has it allI had built my own kit. I purchased this for my truck or boat for trauma use. I took my kits with me to a gunshot trauma course and found it had everything I needed. Course was offering same kits for 219.00.

Missing item; can’t get response from sellerReceived the IFAK kit last week but it was missing the brown 2″ Woven Elastic Bandage w/ Clips which looks like part LXEB2. I sent a note to the E-mail address listed in the paperwork that came with the kit, but haven’t received a response or the missing item. Rest of the kit looks good, just a shame it was missing the one item.
