   SolidGreat shears for an ER nurse! And with that being said, I can’t keep shears to save my life so I’m definitely not forking over $70-80 to get some Raptors. I would lose those in 5 seconds. Soooo for some reason I always find these bad boys. They cut clothes like butter. Splints, belts, rolled up gauze, and even some small metal jewelry. I will probably lose them at my next shift because I’m writing this but I thought I would spread the word! Buy these beauties!

   Best RN scissors hands down!When I graduated nursing school, my god-daughter got me some gnarly nursing scissors that could cut a void into the space time continuum.My hospital gave us critical care nurses a “goodie bag” during COVID. In this bag they had nursing supplies (scissors, pen light, markers, etc..). The scissors looked nice, but that was all, they couldn’t cut ANYTHING!!!!! Same with the rest of the “goodies”, they were all low quality.Fast forward to Nov 2022. My RN scissors were stolen at work (go figure). Needed a replacement ASAP. Saw the reviews, took a chance, and have NOT looked back! Not only do these cut like my stolen scissors, they were bigger (I have large hands). I’ll definitely buy another pair without hesitation if these get stolen (hopefully not).

   highly functional and excellent qualityScissors for cutting bandages/gauze pads that one gets in most stores nowadays are truly ridiculous; they really seem designed for small children to cut crepe paper, with absurdly small finger holes. These scissors are designed for grown-up hands (and mine are quite large), are very sturdy, and cut effectively to their very tips. There are no downsides to these.

   Brand name trauma shears that are recognized in the surgical community.I gave these trauma shears as a gift to a family member who is an orthopedic surgeon. As it happens, this brand of shears is perhaps his favorite. It was helpful to my purchase decision that Amazon identified this brand as a best seller.

   Excellent for EMT’sThese scissors have a reputation in the industry for quality. I watched a guy cut a penny in half with a set of these and you can cut a pair of jeans off a person in seconds. A must have for EMT’s or someone who has medical training.
