Do not use if package is damaged. If condition worsens (significant swelling or redness, or intense pain) consult your physician immediately. Keep this product out of the reach of children. Dressing should be removed prior to cardiac defibrillation and MRI scans. Frequent or prolonged use may result in permanent discoloration of skin.
Indications
Topical management of minor superficial wounds, minor lacerations, minor abrasions, minor first degree burns. CONTRA-INDICATIONS Ascertained hypersensitivity to nylon or silver; cardiac defibrillators.
Ingredients
Silver coated fibers, Purified Water, Polyethylene Oxide (PEO), methylparaben and propylparaben
Directions
Remove and discard the blue film from the dressing. Apply the dressing directly to the wound with the gel side down. Cover SilverSeal® Hydrogel Wound Dressing with a secondary dressing such as a foam dressing, gauze or other appropriate dressing that will maintain a moist wound environment. This product is for single use only. SilverSeal® Soothing Burn and Wound Protective Hydrogel Dressing with X-Static® Silver is designed to be left in contact with the wound for not longer than 7 days.

SilverSeal® Soothing Burn and Wound Protective Hydrogel Dressing with X-Static® Silver is not compatible with oil-based products such as petroleum.

Healed my burn well.I cut it the size of my burn then applied a clear tegaderm dressing to adhere it. Left it on for 5 days and wound was healed when I removed it.

I simply put my wrist under cold water for 5 minutes and then applied one of these SilverSeal dressings on it.I keep these handy in my medicine cabinet for skin injuries because they work wonders for me with all kinds of minor skin wounds. They always feel so soothing plus I like the moist, protective covering. One of my favorite things about them is how they’re super easy to remove and don’t damage or pull at my wound or skin around it when taking them off. I like to use them on all kinds of different superficial type wounds like minor lacerations, abrasions and first degree burns plus they even work on sun burns.

Great for burns!I love this product for when I get sunburns in the summer, having fair skin I burn to the point of blisters. I am also allergic to aloe so I don’t have many options when it comes to soothing burns. I found this SilverSeal Wound Dressing and I apply it to my shoulders/neck/face when I get sunburnt and I am able to feel the cool soothing sensation on my skin to relieve the pain & heal it quickly!

Leaving the clear backing film on facing away from the wound, it is there to help the pad from drying out! As for how good they are, i will report back with a follow up as i just received them.

This product is amazing!I was recently burned on my leg at work. The wound was a pretty good size. These larger pads were really helpful covering the whole wound area. The hydro gel kept the would moist and made me more comfortable while it healed. These pads are soothing and offered relief as soon as I put them on. I would completely recommend 100%!!

My daughter was visiting this past summer and she burned her arm when cooking. The burn was two inches wide and painful. I was concerned about her getting an infection because she was dealing with terrible hives and her immune system was compromised. I used the Silver Seal immediately and not only did it help with pain, she healed well and there was zero infection. Great product!

Poorly packaged, too big for aid kitsThis review is limited to the way the product is packaged. The pads are 4 inches square (4×4) which should fit well into and aid kit. And that’s the purpose for which I bought them. Unfortunately the outer wrapper is ridiculously oversized at around 7 inches square. Because of the fluid bubble they’re packed in, you can’t fold them in half. I could only get these to fit in my largest first aid kit, the one in my car. These won’t fit into any of my regular first aid kits or my range bag. I haven’t had to use the product to treat an injury yet, so have no experience with that aspect. Overall, first aid gear like this is only of value if you have it with you. Due to the oversized packaging, these are only going to be of value at home. Can’t recommend them.
